The future is happening now, so don’t miss it because it promises to give us fresh ideas, modern innovations and new initiatives in web development.
- Chatbots:
The main web development trend of the last few years. They’re literary everywhere. Simply words Chatbot is an app which aims to simulate a conversation by using mimic written or spoken human speech. You can use a Chatbot in Facebook Messengers, Telegram, WhatsUp, Slack, etc. From the functionality point of view, it is customary to distinguish 2 types of Chatbots:
- Chatbots that learn – that type trained to answer for a particular, clearly identified asks. If you tried to ask that kind of chatbots something that isn’t in its code program… well, you’ll simply get no response.
- Chatbots that don't learn – the much more complicated Chatbots system that was created on an AI base and its work is based on machine learning. You do not need to specifically select phrases in order to be understood. They understand the live speech, not just the teams, and they constantly learn, gaining new knowledge from the dialogues.
- Progressive Web Apps:
Progressive Web Apps is not new for 2019, but it’s still at the forefront of the web development trends. PWA is some kind of hybrid of websites and mobile applications. Imagine that the users can upload your website on their gadgets (regardless of screen size and other specifications), receive notifications and work with it (even without an Internet connection). For developers the advantage of PWA is that its creation process is easier and faster than a regular website.
- Single Page Applications:
SPA is nothing more, but merely one page website where everything is provided just on the single long scrollable web page. The main benefit of single page applications is that it’s easy to use, doesn’t have a complex navigation system, multi-level interface, and useless of text.
Usually, these kinds of apps are good for websites without a blog and other extra features. The most common examples of SPA are Gmail, Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter.
Also, if you are interested in PWA you should know that SPA is much easier to transform into Progressive Web Apps than other counterparts.
- Low Code Development platforms:
This kind of platform offers a simple and much faster way of developing processes with minimal coding experience. Low-code solves the main problem of digitalization - the acceleration of the cycle from a business need for a working business process. If you are looking for a development company which can provide a low code development make sure that it works with common Low Code development platforms such as OutSystems, FileMaker, Mendix, Quick Base.
- Voice Search Optimization:
Voice search systems like Siri, Alexa or Cortana already have been responding in people’s hearts. So today there are more and more users out there, which would like to use websites not only chatbots, but also using voice searches. So, if you have a website you should care about preparing it to voice search.
- JS Frameworks:
Every year JS Frameworks become more and more popular and over 5 years the JS Frameworks hold leading positions in the market. This is due to the fact that JS is constantly improving its system and offers new frameworks, libraries, designs. Today there are 3 JS Frameworks which saturate the web development market: Angular, React.js and Vue.js.
